Welcome to everyone who is enrolled in the program and to everyone who is yet to do so. To our new and old you are now Hills Barbarians, and you are a part of one of the biggest clubs in our association. Thank you for choosing us and we hope it is a positive experience for you and your family.
2024-25 is another season of running a successful program for more than 25years for the Hills Barbarians CC. Something we are very proud of. This program relies on parental involvement and as much as we are teaching the kids about the game of cricket, we see that we are helping yourselves develop an eye for the finer points of the game.
Our first week of the program is Friday 18th October and we will run for 8 weeks before Christmas. We break at that point and return on the 31st February for 7 more weeks.
You can register at any time for the program and join us under lights at Eric Mobbs Reserve Castle Hill just off Ferguson Avenue.
What you need to bring is just comfortable clothing to run around, all equipment is supplied but if you would like to use your own bat in the games you can do that. We don't recommend you bring a ball with you as we will help you out here weekly.
Program Starts at 6:15pm to warm up with small games going on around the ground to form teams at 6:25pm and start the games.
For those not quite at game level just yet we will be running skills sessions to get you ready for games and they will start at 6:30 for an hour. We will work with everyone to help get you into the correct level so just show up ready on Week 1 at 6:15pm and we will work it all out from there. For those attending for the first time, please arrive at 6:15pm so we can sort you into the appropriate group.
