Community Support for the Khan Family
Our club community is rallying together to support one of our U12/1 families during an incredibly difficult time. Tragically, Kam, the parent of one of our U12/1 players, has passed away, leaving behind his wife Su and their three children.
This loss comes at a particularly challenging time of year, when many families are coming together to celebrate. For Su and the children, this season will be especially hard, and our support as a community is more important than ever.
Kam’s son, Darian Khan, has been a valued member of our club, and this heartbreaking loss has been felt deeply by his teammates, coaches, and the wider club community. At moments like this, we are reminded that our club is about more than cricket — it is about people, family, and standing together when it matters most.
A GoFundMe page has been created to support Su and the children as they navigate the difficult days and months ahead. Further details about the family’s situation and why this support is so important are shared on the GoFundMe page itself.
The Community that are supporting the family are very close to reaching their financial goal, and we know that with the Barbarians’ support, we can help make a meaningful difference. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and show the family that they are not alone. Sharing the page is also a powerful way to help.
We encourage our club members and the wider community to come together in compassion and solidarity. Communities are strongest when we rally around one another in times of need.
Our thoughts are with Su, Darian, his siblings, and the entire Khan family during this incredibly difficult time.
