Subject: Invitation to Attend the Inaugural Rob McLean Cup – February 1st
Dear Parents, Coaches, and Team Managers,
We are excited to invite you and your teams to join us for the inaugural ‘Rob McLean Cup’ on Saturday February 1st, commencing 1:30pm at George Thornton Reserve.
As previously mentioned in the latest newsletter, this is a first for the club having two senior A grade sides in the same competition and a great opportunity for our juniors and parents to come along and see what senior cricket at Hills Barbarians is all about.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our junior players to come together and integrate with our with the seniors, as well as take part in our commemoration of club legend Rob McLean.
In addition to watching the exciting action on the field, we’re organizing a combined junior net session where all juniors are encouraged to bring their kits and participate in a fun and developmental afternoon. There will also be a flex wicket set up on the bottom field for those wishing to have some double wicket practice.
On the day, there will be raffles with multiple prizes for all ages, so everyone has a chance to win something special. Whether you’re a junior or an adult, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
There will also be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase throughout the day, so please remember to bring cash if you wish to enjoy a drink or two.
Please note we invite all senior teams to come along as well, understanding that our senior teams will have their own matches to attend to as well.
We look forward to seeing you all there for a fun and engaging afternoon. Should you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
Raffle tickets will be sold on the day or can be pre purchased through the stack steam app for $5 each or 3 for $10
Drinks for sale on the day.
Prizes up for grabs will be as follows:
signed Ricky Ponting cricket Bat
Genuine ASICS cricket Australia kit bag (empty)
